Razor E100

Our Rating:

Razor E100 Review

The Razor E100 is an awesome electric scooter for kids (and adults) to learn how to ride on an electric scooter.

This sturdy electric scooter is suitable for young rebels age 8 to 12.

Razor recommends 8+ but I know in our neighborhood there is a kid who’s 6 and he rides one (like a madman) as well. You know your kid best so it’s up to you to judge if he/she can or can’t ride this E100.

This Razor E100 with a 24V rechargeable battery carries a weight of 54 kilograms and runs for approximately 40 minutes without interruption.

Please note that the weight of the child has an influence on battery life. Is the battery empty? Then you can charge it with the included battery charger in about 8 hours (the first time you use it it will be close to 12 hours). I know in kids hours that feels like a week.

My kids use it to race other kids in the neighborhood and they can race about 40 minutes at full speed before the battery dies. Then the nagging starts asking how much longer it will take before it’s charged again so they can go race again.

Young speed devils can reach a maximum speed of 10mph (16 km/h) on the E100.
