The battery of my e-scooter needs to be replaced, now what?

The capacity of the battery decreases. This is the result of chemical crystal formation inside the battery. Charging the battery is more difficult until it eventually stops functioning altogether. If your battery really gives up the ghost, you can opt for a new one. Then knock on the door of the dealer where you bought the e-scooter. Replacing a built-in battery will require a bit more work than exchanging an external battery.

The battery of an e-step

For most electric scooters Lithium-ion batteries are used. These are lightweight batteries that can contain a lot of energy and are rechargeable. Lithium-ion batteries are efficient and have a long life. They are of course not indestructible, so you should always take care of them.
